After 1 month of selection with more than 2500 applications, VMA has successfully organized a training course for more than 700 general officials for the F1 VinFast Vietnam Grand Prix on November 30th and December 1st. The General Officials have been equipped with the basic knowledge as well as the responsibilities of their role at the event.
SENIOR OFFICIALS TRAINING - PHASE 3
In November, to prepare for the organization of F1 VinFast Vietnam Grand Prix 2020, Vietnamese Motorsports Association (VMA) has organized the 3rd phase of training for the Senior Officials of the F1 VinFast Vietnam Grand Prix 2020. The course is led by worldclass experts from Motorsport Australia, who has many years of experience in training and delivering successful Grand Prix around the world.
Senior Officials were able to review knowledge learned from the first and second phase, intensive training on reporting skills, roles of Senior Officials, the process of deal- ing with serious problems. Along with team exercises to increase cohesion, mutual understanding among members, the team of experts from Motorsport Australia also construct and instruct the trainees with scenario and practical exercises.
GENERAL OFFICIALS TRAINING - PHASE 1

The General Officials have been equipped with the basic knowledge as well as the responsibilities of their role at the event.
In addition to professional knowledge, ex- perts from Motorsport Australia took advantage of practical situations, discussion sessions to train on soft skills such as leadership competencies, teamwork skills and problem solving. They also emphasized the importance of following the discipline and safety rules while officiating the race. The General Officials from 8 specialised teams trained and coached by trainers from Motorsport Australia and VMA including: Flag, Communication and Track; Fire & Rescue; Pit, Grid, Paddock; Scrutineer; and Recovery. The volunteers not only learn about specific content by name of each class, but also learn about work, responsibilities and rights of officers in general on the track. After the training, 100% of the trainees are certificated and express their readiness for the upcoming race.
